Neotas Partner With Leading HR Solutions Provider Zellis
We are delighted to announce our partnership with leading payroll and HR solutions provider Zellis, whose clients will now have access to our full suite of social media and online background checking services.

Our Technology

Using our proprietary technology, Zellis’ customers will now be able to access cost effective social media background checks, rapidly analysing data from over 300 online platforms in 190 languages.

Reports delivered will highlight any role-related risks that are present in an individual’s online activity, including, amongst others:

  • Abusive or discriminatory behavior
  • Extremism
  • Sexually explicit content
  • Violence
  • Undisclosed criminal behavior

The checks will also help identify positive behavioral attributes such as charitable work and volunteering.

Our Partnership

John Petter, CEO, Zellis, said “The popularity of social media background checks has risen exponentially over the past few years; it’s vital that these checks are being conducted accurately and without bias.

Our partnership with Neotas is one more way Zellis is continuing to provide its customers with the technologies they need to meet the evolving needs of modern business. We’re thrilled to be partnering with Neotas, and to introduce our customers to a faster, more efficient feature for their background checks.”

Ian Howard, Co-Founder of Neotas, said: “The wrong hire can prove damaging to an organisation’s company culture and reputation, as well as being a costly mistake. By partnering with Zellis, we are excited to work with a very well-established firm that recognises the power of social media searches in preventing the hiring of damaging or dangerous individuals.”

Why Conduct Social Media Background Checks?

Employers who conduct social media screening on existing employees and job applicants must use a third party provider like Neotas, to eradicate unconscious bias or discrimination from the process.

Third party providers, like Neotas, are able to ensure that a candidate’s protected characteristics remain protected, using GDPR compliant checks.
